Spiced Sweet Tea
While I was in North Carolina recently I drank a lot of southern sweet tea and loved every minute of it. This gave me the idea of making an afternoon cocktail that would have a fall twist to it using sweet tea. This cocktail is ideal for football tailgates because the ingredients are very simple to throw together. The apple butter gives the drink a spicy kick without overpowering the tea. This drink will make you the cocktail star at your next event or tailgate!
Ingredients:
- 3 ounces of vodka
- 1.5 cups of sweet tea
- 2 teaspoons of apple butter
Method:
- In a cocktail shaker combine vodka, sweet tea, and apple butter
- Stir until mixed
- Fill two glasses completely with ice and pour the mixture over ice
