Spiced Rose Vodka
This cocktail is a fancy holiday recipe but would be great for a small dinner with friends or cocktail hour with a date. The extra effort goes a long way here and your friends will be impressed by this sour. I chose to use rose water because the rose flavor is very complementary to the blood orange.
The mulled spice simple syrups add a holiday flair and flavor which will spice up any gathering. Rose water can be purchased at most specialty markets as well as smaller markets as I saw rose water at my local Greek deli for a pretty reasonable price. The citrus in this cocktail adds the perfect amount of balance which will have you wanting more than just one of these lovely cocktails. Are you looking for a bottle of booze that you can make multiple cocktails out of?
