Sparkling Holiday Greeters

When hosting a get-together this holiday season there are some great tips for making your party stand out amongst the rest. It is especially important to make a great first impression so when I’m on my game I serve welcome cocktails to all my guests as soon as they walk in the door. To make it easier they can be batched up and are not designed to be full cocktails but just a little something people can sip on as they greet everyone else. These delicious welcome drinks are made with sloe gin, lemon juice, and Monin pure cane syrup then topped off with Champagne.

Recipe: (Makes 4)

• 2 ounces sloe gin
• 1 ounce lemon juice
• 1 ounce Monin pure cane syrup
• Champagne to top

Method:

1. Combine all ingredients, except Champagne, in a cocktail shaker with ice
2. Shake to chill and combine ingredients
3. Strain into mini serving glasses
4. Top with Champagne
5. Garnish & Enjoy!
