Pomegranate Collins
As the weather gets cooler over the next few months I’m looking for other ways to keep my figure in check as I will likely be walking and running less during the cold afternoons. This has led me to use more vodka, which uses no sugar or additives in the production, and products like Prairie Organic Vodka fit the bill perfectly. Fresh lemon juice gives the drink a great kick and gives this cocktail a pretty reminiscent touch of a drink you might try if you’ve had the flu. Luckily, I topped it all off with a little pomegranate soda to give it a little pop I felt it was missing and it really bought it all together.
Recipe:
- 2 ounce Prairie Organic Vodka
- 1 ounce lemon juice
- ½ ounce honey syrup
- 1.5 ounces of pomegranate soda
Method:
- Combine vodka, lemon juice, and honey syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice
- Shake to chill and combine ingredients
- Strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice
- Top with pomegranate soda
- Garnish with edible flowers and pomegranate seeds
- Enjoy!
