Coconut Spiked Limeade

Today’s recipe features the fun and tasty Blue Chair Bay Banana Rum; this rum immediately transports you to a tropical beach. I love this because if you are in the Seattle cold like me you can transport yourself with just one cocktail! This cocktail is a coconut limeade that has been spiked with banana rum so you get the lime flavor, coconut, and a hint of banana to make your tropical cocktail hour shine.

I chose this cocktail because every time I have ever been anywhere tropical I always order a banana daiquiri but I have never been able to recreate it perfectly at home. Today is the day ladies and gentlemen I have recreated this drink but made it super easy for the home bartender to execute.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces Blue Chair Bay Banana Rum
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon of agave syrup
  • 2 ounces coconut milk
  • 4 ounces limeade

Method:

  1. Add Blue Chair Bay Banana Rum, lime juice, coconut milk, agave syrup and limeade to a shaker with ice
  2. Shake for 20 seconds
  3. Pour into serving glass
