Pecan & Coconut Mojito
Today I am pairing one of my favorite flavors, which is coconut with rum! I have also made pecan simple syrup to fancy this cocktail up with festive flavor. The best part of this cocktail is the side dessert; the coconut macaroon. Have your own sweet happy hour and pair your favorite cocktail with your favorite cookie!
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces rum
- 1 ounce lime juice
- 3 ounces coconut cream
- 2 tablespoons pecan simple syrup
- 8 mint leaves
- Club soda for top off
Method:
- Fill the cocktail shaker with lime juice, coconut cream, pecan simple syrup, and mint leaves
- Muddle the mixture until the ingredients are married together
- Strain the mixture then stir in the rum
- Rim the serving glass with powdered sugar then fill the serving glass with ice
- Add mixture to serving glass and top off with club soda
- Pour mixture into serving glass
- Garnish with mint leaves with sprinkled powdered sugar
