Rosé Collins
Today was so warm here so we went to the store and got a few bottles of rosé to drink, and this bottle was so beautiful we just had to do something with it. The crisp clean citrus flavors in this rosé made it perfect for a cocktail such as the Tom Collins and really added some delicious notes. Starting with the traditional Tom Collins recipe of gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup we replaced the soda with rosé and everything came together deliciously.
Recipe:
- 1.5 ounces gin
- 1 ounce lemon juice
- ½ ounce simple syrup
- Rosé to top (approximately 2 ounces)
Method:
- Crush ice and fill Collins Glass
- Combine gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice
- Shake hard to chill and combine ingredients
- Strain over crushed ice in Collins glass
- Garnish with a lemon slice
- Top with rosé
- Enjoy!
