Crew-d Pineapple Sour
Doesn’t this winter weather make you want to take a tropical vacation? With this Crew-d Pineapple Sour made with the spicy Cask & Crew Rye Whiskey you can check out of the real world and transport yourself somewhere warm any time. I have had an obsession with Sours since I first learned how to make them and I love finding new products to use in them. I came across this delicious Rye Whiskey and noticed they had Walnut Toffee and Ginger Spice flavors in their repertoire but found the straight Rye to really work best for this cocktail.
There are 3 main ingredients to make a great sour. First and foremost you have to use a great spirit for the base of your cocktail, without this nothing else really matters. That’s why I have partnered with the Cask and Crew Rye Whiskey Company to bring you a delicious sour. Once you have the right base for your cocktail the next most important ingredient is egg white because that’s where the rich smooth froth really comes from. These two ingredients need a little something also and that’s a little citrus, it’s a good idea to use some lemon juice first but I have found that pineapple juice is really key to making impressive foam on your sour.
Recipe:
- 1.5 ounces Cask & Crew Rye Whiskey
- ½ ounce lemon juice
- 1 ounce pineapple juice

- Garnish & Enjoy!
