Blood Orange Paloma
When I go out to a Mexican restaurant I love to order a Paloma. I am obsessed with this drink and have been looking at making one at home for a while. While shopping in the drugstore last week I saw a bottle of Squirt soda and decided I had to make an at-home version of a Paloma ASAP. So, I decided to use some blood oranges I had left and some fresh grapefruit juice to take this version over the top. This cocktail is amazing and I could drink these for days! This is the perfect drink to serve at a party! So cheers to you because after this drink your day will only get better!
Ingredients:
- 1.5 ounces of Anejo tequila
- 1 ounce lime juice
- 1 blood orange, juiced
- ½ grapefruit juiced
- 1 bottle of Squirt soda (drink is topped off with this so the entire bottle will not be used)
Method:
- In a large glass combine blood orange juice, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and tequila
- Stir the mixture and rim the serving glass with salt
- Fill the serving glass with ice
- Pour mixture into serving glass and top off with Squirt soda
- Garnish with blood orange
