Blood Orange Paloma

When I go out to a Mexican restaurant I love to order a Paloma. I am obsessed with this drink and have been looking at making one at home for a while. While shopping in the drugstore last week I saw a bottle of Squirt soda and decided I had to make an at-home version of a Paloma ASAP. So, I decided to use some blood oranges I had left and some fresh grapefruit juice to take this version over the top. This cocktail is amazing and I could drink these for days! This is the perfect drink to serve at a party! So cheers to you because after this drink your day will only get better!

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 ounces of Anejo tequila
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 1 blood orange, juiced
  • ½ grapefruit juiced
  • 1 bottle of Squirt soda (drink is topped off with this so the entire bottle will not be used)

Method:

  1. In a large glass combine blood orange juice, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and tequila
  2. Stir the mixture and rim the serving glass with salt
  3. Fill the serving glass with ice
  4. Pour mixture into serving glass and top off with Squirt soda
  5. Garnish with blood orange
