Berry Cherry Bramble
All summer long I have been obsessed with creating fun and delicious variations on classic brambles because they are such refreshing and look amazing. This one was a simple decision as I just did some rummaging through my fridge and booze cabinet to find what I had lying around to work with.
As we are exploring a few distilleries in Australia we have some great gin around us so we started with a bottle of that and added in some fresh lemon juice and a delicious Monin strawberry syrup. I really wanted something with a good hit of booze as I sipped it so I used some Campari to top the cocktail off which gave it a great aromatic finish and a delicious boozy beginning.
Recipe:
- 1 ounce gin
- 1 ounce lemon juice
- 1 ounce Monin strawberry syrup
- ¾ ounce Campari
Method:
- Crush the ice and prep your glass
- Combine all ingredients, except Campari, in a cocktail shaker with ice
- Shake to chill and combine ingredients
- Strain over crushed ice in a rocks glass
- Top with Campari
- Enjoy!
