Cocktails with Alizé
I’ve always been intrigued by the beautifully colorful Alizé bottles on the shelves at the liquor store, so I was excited when they reached out to partner on some delicious cocktails. We actually visited the factory where Alizé is produced, in the Charente region of France, but this was the first time I had the products to play around with and the flavors were absolutely wonderful! The base of each flavor begins with a blend of natural passion fruit and vodka, and from there the different flavors in their portfolio come to life. I ended up mixing drinks with the Red Passion, Bleu Passion, and Pineapple, and each of these adds so much to the passion fruit base and mixes perfectly in cocktails.
Tropical Bleu Passion
Ingredients:
- 1 ounce Alizé Bleu Passion
- 1 ounce London dry gin
- 1 ounce lime juice
- ¼ ounce orgeat
- ½ ounce of pineapple juice
- ½ coconut cream
- 5 dashes aromatic bitters
Method:
- Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice
- Shake to chill and combine ingredients
- Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice
- Garnish & Enjoy!
Pineapple Passion Daiquiri
Ingredients:
- 1 ounce Alizé Pineapple
- 1 ounce moderately aged rum
- 1 ounce lime juice
- ½ ounce of pineapple juice
- ¾ simple syrup
Method:
- Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice
- Shake to chill and combine ingredients
- Double strain into a Nick & Nora glass
- Garnish & Enjoy!
Cosmo Tequila Twist
Ingredients:
- 1 ounce Alizé Red Passion
- 1 ounce blanco tequila
- ½ ounce lime juice
- ½ ounce lemon juice
- ¼ ounce agave syrup
- ½ ounce of dry curaçao
Method:
- Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice
- Shake to chill and combine ingredients
- Double strain into a Nick & Nora glass
- Garnish & Enjoy!
