Cranberry Mimosa
With Thanksgiving tomorrow, I wanted to really show off a cocktail I thought would be perfect for the occasion. Champagne is always the answer when celebrating and by adding just a touch of syrup to the mix you can make any variation of a Mimosa you want.
Mimosas usually call for fresh fruit juices but I found the addition of syrup really adds a lot of flavor without taking up too much of the glass; leaving more room for the star of the show. With this cocktail being showcased for Thanksgiving, and no one making turkey syrup (thankfully), I opted for cranberry syrup instead as it is one of the main flavors that make me think of Thanksgiving.
Recipe:
- ½ ounce Monin Cranberry
- 6-7 ounces Champagne (depending on glass size)
Method:
- Add cranberry syrup to a Champagne flute
- Top with Champagne
- Garnish & Enjoy!
