Berry Citrus Paloma

As Spring is finally here and the weather gets warmer I’m thinking of a Mexican escape and one of my favorite cocktails is the Paloma. This seasonal twist on a traditional Paloma brings all the wonderful fresh fruits of spring together in a delicious cocktail with some wonderful citrus zest and earthy tequila. The addition of the Zevia Grapefruit Citrus brings a great balance to the cocktail with the dry soda working with the fresh fruits and juices in harmony. The best part is that Zevia is sugar-free so it doesn’t overpower all the natural sugars in the fruits.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce ruby red grapefruit juice
  • ½ ounce lime juice
  • ¼ cup fresh mixed seasonal berries
  • Zevia Grapefruit Citrus (approx. 1-2 ounces)

Method:

  1. Combine tequila, ruby red grapefruit juice, lime juice, and berries in a cocktail shaker with ice
  2. Shake hard to break up berries and combine ingredients
  3. Fine strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice
  4. Top with Zevia Grapefruit Citrus
  5. Garnish & Enjoy
