Negroni Creamsicle

I have become officially obsessed with Negroni week. I just can’t stop making variations of this wonderful classical cocktail. I love that this week benefits the charity and that my favorite bars in Seattle are taking advantage of this and giving back to great community organizations. In addition, I love being super creative and developing crazy variations of this cocktail. Obviously, this cocktail is so amazing in its classic and pure form. You have probably noticed from my website that I must do some type of twist or variation on my cocktail recipes so here goes something very crazy: A negroni creamsicle.

I recently got a crazy elementary school craving for a creamsicle which is probably the last time that I actually had a creamsicle! Totally lame I know! I usually stick to something with chocolate or peanut butter. I made some homemade whip cream and had a bunch of heavy creams left over so I had no choice but to make a negroni creamsicle. I was forced! It was an interesting experiment that turned out so well! The cream really balanced out the bitterness and blended so well with the orange juice and gin. These creamsicles would be an awesome after-dinner treat or great on a Sunday-Funday! Kick up your next dinner party or day-drinking menu with a negroni creamsicle! Dessert and cocktail in one for your pleasure!
