Passion Fruit Chocolate Fizz
Today I’m bringing you a tropical drink with some passion. I am currently inspired by the tropical fruit that is available in some of the local markets. I have never used passion fruit in a drink before and wanted to give it a whirl. I also decided to pair it with chocolate, which was amazing. Seriously, what if I start shaving chocolate over every drink? Would that be annoying? I then topped off the drink with champagne to give it some fizzy love. Also, feel free to spike this drink with some vodka if you really need a buzz! This drink will make you feel like you are on a tropical island! Let’s escape together!
Ingredients:
- 200 ml of champagne or a small bottle
- 1 passion fruit
- 1 ounce mandarin orange juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 3 dashes chocolate bitters
Instructions:
- Fill a large glass with mandarin orange juice, scooped-out passion fruit seeds, simple syrup, and chocolate bitters
- Stir mixture for 20 seconds
- Pour mixture into serving glass
- Top off with champagne
- Garnish with passion fruit and chocolate shavings
