The recipe today has a couple of things going on; it is lime free, blended with cactus, and has roasted jalapeños to spicy it up. At first I was slightly suspicious of how the cactus would turn out in this drink but decided I had to take the chance. I wanted something unique and different to sip today.

The cactus with the roasted jalapeño and blackberry give an earthy yet balanced flavor with a hint of spicy goodness. The roasted jalapeño is smoky and I really like that flavor with the tequila and cactus. Take a chance and blend it up with this cactus margarita!
