Today my recipe is a reflection of the current rise in humidity and the first cocktail I think about drinking in extreme heat. This is a classic Margarita spiked with watermelon and coconut water. I love using coconut water in cocktails because it adds a hydration element that you can’t get from regular water. It also adds a hint of coconut flavor to the drink, which marries so well with the watermelon and tequila. Let’s go drink some Margaritas together!

Ingredients:
- 1.5 ounces of tequila
- 2 ounces of watermelon juice
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- 1 teaspoon agave nectar
- 1 ounce of coconut water
- 1 cup of ice
Instructions:
- Pour all ingredients into a shaker except ice
- Rim serving glass with salt
- Shake mixture then strain into serving glass over ice
