This cocktail is perfect for the home bartender or anyone looking for a easy and tasty cocktail treat. Have you ever had a Cuba Libre? It’s a very simple mixture of lime, coke, and rum! This makes for a great twist on the normal rum and coke. Today, I wanted to add my spin on this classic by adding pomegranate to the mix. The pomegranate adds a fruity flavor without adding more sweetness to the drink. Also, if you are having people over it’s a fun way to kick up the normal rum and coke cocktail. Ingredients:
- 1.5 ounces of rum
- ½ lime, juiced
- 2 ounces of coke
- 1 cup of ice
- Top with pomegranate juice
Garnish: lime and pomegranate seeds
Instructions:
- Fill serving glass with ice
- In a mixing glass add rum, lime and coke
- Stir mixture then pour into serving glass
- Top with pomegranate juice
- Garnish cocktail with lime and pomegranate seeds
