This Margarita was created for Cinco de Mayo but can be enjoyed year-round and combines two unique flavors that balance each other out because the blood orange is sweet and the habanero hot sauce adds a slight spice. It doesn’t hurt that I used the amazing handcrafted Blue Nectar Tequila to round out this Margarita. Blue Nectar Tequila is made in small batches and is a perfect addition for your next party. I love the versatility of this tequila because it can be sipping tequila or a perfect addition to a fresh Margarita. My ideal Mexican themed party would be to make a big batch of this Margarita then have a tequila tasting with the three tequilas that Blue Nectar offers including the silver, the reposado extra blend, and the reposado special craft.
