Apple Cider Hot Toddy

I initially put together this delicious hot toddy for a Christmas party but have since continued making it throughout the year to keep me warm during the cooler nights. I always like to support local and luckily living in Seattle there is no shortage of Apple Cider producers to keep it interesting.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 ounces of whiskey
  • 6-7 ounces of apple cider depending on serving glass
  • ¼ of a lemon, juiced
  • Garnish: 1 slice of apple with cloves

Instructions:

  1. In a small sauce pan heat up the apple cider
  2. Pour the whiskey and lemon into the serving glass
  3. Top with hot apple cider
  4. Divide the orange juice and bourbon mixture between the two mason jars
  5. Garnish with apple slice and cloves
