Torched Orange

Today I am sharing a cocktail that will get you through Winter with no problem as it has delicious seasonal flavors combined perfectly with one of my favorite Monin syrups. The base for this cocktail was a classic Screwdriver but if you know your classics you will know this cocktail has so much more. The vodka and Cointreau work well when combined with orange juice and the delicious citrus flavors in the Monin Winter Citrus syrup with honey this cocktail just needed a touch of lime juice to finish it off.

Recipe:

• 1 ounce vodka
• 1 ounce Cointreau
• ½ ounce Monin winter citrus syrup
• 1 ounce orange juice
• ½ ounce lime juice

Method:

1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice
2. Shake hard to chill and combine ingredients
3. Strain into a cocktail glass
4. Garnish with a torched orange slice
5. Enjoy!
