Spicy Honey Paloma
Paloma & Taco pairing, just in time for Cinco de Mayo! I’m excited to show y’all my signature Spicy Honey Paloma I mixed up for Time Out America, featuring the Fever-Tree Sparkling Pink Grapefruit! Time Out has also recommended a taco to pair with my Paloma on their website! I love using the Fever-Tree Sparkling Pink Grapefruit in cocktails because it is so versatile and pairs well with other spirits & in a pinch, you can make a DELISH 2-ingredient cocktail. Make sure you try it out, especially the next time you make a PALOMA!
Recipe:
- 1.5 oz reposado tequila
- ½ ounce lime juice
- ½ ounce honey syrup
- 1 jalapeño pepper
- A pinch of salt
- 1 grapefruit
- Fever-Tree Sparkling Pink Grapefruit
Method:
- Combine tequila, honey syrup, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker
Add three slices of jalapeño pepper - Muddle the jalapeño pepper to extract the oils
- Add ice to the cocktail shaker
- Shake hard to chill and combine ingredients
- Strain the concoction into a highball glass over fresh ice
- Top off the Paloma with Fever-Tree Sparkling Pink Grapefruit
- Stir the concoction to mix the ingredients
- Garnish with grapefruit peel and a few extra slices of jalapeño pepper
