Spicy Holiday Margarita Punch

This bubbly festive Margarita is PERFECT for the Holidays with friends & family. It’s a super easy recipe to prepare and then you don’t have to play bartender all night. I also made another fun ice mold to keep the punch chilled using a bundt pan; which I have been using for years to make punches more festive.

I made this punch with the Cenote Tequila Blanco because it has a fresh taste with notes of spices and green vegetables.  If you aren’t familiar with this tequila it is made with volcanic mineral water and the Blanco that I used in this recipe is oak mellowed in wood for 3 weeks.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups of Cenote Blanco Tequila
  • 1.5 cups of lime juice
  • 6 ounces of cranberry jalapeno Syrup (*see recipe below)
  • 12 ounces grapefruit juice
  • Top with one bottle of Prosecco

(Serves 12)

Method:

  1. Add all ingredients to a punch bowl including ice
  2. Stir then serve with a cinnamon salt rim

*Cranberry Jalapeno Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cranberries
  • ½ jalapeno, sliced (you add the full jalapeno for more spice)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan
  2. Cook on medium until cranberries breakdown
  3. Cool then strain
