Solstice Old Fashioned

Let’s make an Old Fashioned featuring Tea Forte African Solstice Rooibos Tea! I absolutely adore Tea Forté; not only do they have the best packaging, BUT the tea blends bring so many layers of flavor & dimension to cocktails! From using the beautiful pyramid-shaped teas in place of spirits for alcohol-free cocktails to making syrup from the tea for this Old Fashioned; Tea Forté is so versatile.

Ingredients:

• 1½ ounces bourbon
• ½ ounce Tea Forté African solstice rooibos tea syrup
• ¼ ounce Fernet Branca
• 3 dashes of chocolate bitters

Method:

1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice
2. Stir then strain over a large cube
3. Garnish with an orange peel
