Roasted Jalapeño and Artichoke Bloody Mary

Yes, I am still hung over from last weekend; I know I am so lame and can’t hang out like I once could (yes this is true even though I do make cocktails every day). So, to remedy this situation I needed some relief which included this tasty Bloody Mary. Bloody Marys really do it for me when I am slightly under the weather from drinking. I love this Bloody Mary because the artichokes have a tangy yet mild flavor that adds so much to your standard Bloody Mary.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ounces of vodka
  • 8 ounces of V8 Juice
  • 1/8 cup of balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 roasted jalapeño pepper
  • 5 artichoke hearts
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish

Method:

  • In a blender combine all ingredients except the ice and garnishes
  • Blend the mixture until all ingredients have been combined
  • Fill two glasses with ice cubes and pour the mixture over the ice

Yields: 2 servings
