Roasted Grapefruit Rum Mule

Today I am sharing a twist on the classic Moscow Mule. Obviously, it has rum instead of vodka and roasted grapefruit. The bitter flavor of the roasted grapefruit balances the sweetness of the ginger beer! This drink would also be good as a punch because you could roast a batch of grapefruit and float them in the punch. Let’s make this week wonderful with this rum Moscow Mule!

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 ounces of Brugal Extra Dry
  • 1 teaspoon of agave syrup
  • 4 slices of grapefruit roasted with 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • top off with ginger beer

Method:

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with Brugal Extra Dry, agave syrup, and 2 slices of roasted grapefruit
  2. Muddle mixture
  3. Add ice to the serving glass and strain the muddled mixture into a glass
  4. Top off with ginger beer
