Pomegranate 75

I absolutely love a good French 75, and after drinking so much Prosecco in Italy on our adventures this year I was so happy to partner with Lunetta to create a delicious cocktail that really puts their delicious, dry Prosecco to use. With the holiday season in full swing, I am using pomegranates wherever I can and the flavor balanced perfectly with the fresh lemon juice and gin in this reimagined classic.

After my first sip of Lunetta Prosecco, I knew it had to go into a ’75 style cocktail as it is so effervescent and the dry citrus and fruity notes would really make it “pop”. I went for a London dry gin as it paired deliciously and wouldn’t overpower the lighter notes then added in some fresh lemon juice to bring amplify the citrus notes in the Prosecco. It was delicious but I thought it needed some sugar and had some delicious pomegranate syrup on hand so I added in a few drops to balance the drink and it was ready to go.

Recipe:

Method:

  1. Combine gin, lemon juice and pomegranate syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice
  2. Shake to chill and combine ingredients
  3. Strain into Champagne flute
  4. Top with Lunetta Prosecco
  5. Garnish & Enjoy!
