Peach Cognac Smash
Let’s make a Peach Cognac Smash featuring @hinecognacs. I always keep my home bar stocked with H by HINE VSOP as it’s such a versatile cognac. It’s perfect for sipping on ice as well as cocktails like this smash or even a two-ingredient drink like cognac & tonic. If you aren’t familiar with HINE Cognac, they are known for producing some of the world’s finest cognacs for over 250 years. I love making this smash for a fun happy hour with friends at home. This particular cocktail is perfect with H by HINE VSOP as the notes of iris, fresh apricot, acacia, and white pepper pair perfectly with the earthiness of the mint and the sweetness of the peach.
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces of H by HINE VSOP
- 3 wedges of lemon
- ¾ ounces of peach syrup
- 4 mint leaves
Method:
- Add lemon wedges to a shaker then muddle
- Add H by HINE, peach syrup, and mint to the shaker with ice
- Shake then double strain over ice into a rocks glass
- Garnish with peach fan and mint sprig
