Irish Tea Old Fashioned
Crystal Obsessed! A couple of weeks ago I hosted a fun Drink Event with Waterford at their NEW POP-UP store in SOHO. It was so much fun to SHOP & SIP their STUNNING crystal collections in NYC; which are perfect for gifts! If you are in NYC, make sure to stop by 160 Mercer Street, Soho. The glass featured here is the Lismore Arcus Tumbler. Some of y’all may know that I have visited the House of Waterford Crystal in Ireland to see how some of these BEAUTIFUL pieces are made AND many of the glasses are featured in my book including the COVER. This holiday & at my event I created three fabulous cocktails to celebrate the season in style with inspiration from Ireland & crystal cuts in the glassware.
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces of Irish Whiskey
- ½ ounces Irish tea syrup*
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
- 2 dashes orange bitters
Method:
- Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice
- Stir to chill and combine the ingredients
- Strain over an ice cube into the Lismore Arcus Tumbler
- Garnish with an orange peel
* Irish Tea syrup
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup Irish Black Tea
Method
- Add ingredients to a medium saucepan
- Simmer until sugar is dissolved
- Cool then use
