Hibiscus Treat
Cinco de Mayo is such a fun holiday to spend with friends and enjoy festive cocktails. This is such a fun and tasty mezcal cocktail, which I have named, The Hibiscus Treat; made with Bozal Ensamble Mezcal. It was inspired by one of my favorite drinks in Mexico, the Agua de Jamaica, which is delicious hibiscus-infused water. I decided to use hibiscus tea, mint simple syrup, and lime juice as well as the Bozal Ensamble for its slightly smoky and herbaceous notes. I served this mixture over crushed ice and garnished with a big bunch of fragrant mint. Happy Cinco friends and I hope you enjoy all the mezcal cocktails. What is your favorite mezcal cocktail?
