Cocktail with Scots Gold Whisky
Mix cocktails with a blended Scotch whisky like no other. Scots Gold Whisky is masterfully blended using the finest Lowland grain whiskies and at least fifteen different malt whiskies, with a high concentration of Speyside & Highland malts. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks to create truly some exceptional spirits, which I have crafted the following cocktails with.
Scots Gold Rob Roy
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces Scots Gold Black
- ¾ ounce sweet vermouth
- 2-3 dashes aromatic bitters
Method:
- Add all the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice
- Stir to chill and combine ingredients
- Double strain into a cocktail glass
- Garnish with cherries
Scots Gold and Soda
Ingredients:
- 1.5 ounces Scots Gold Black
- Soda water to top
Method:
- Add all the ingredients to a highball glass with ice
- Stir to chill and combine ingredients
- Garnish with an orange peel
Scots Gold Penicillin
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces Scots Gold Black
- ¾ ounce lemon juice
- ¾ ginger honey syrup
- ¼ ounce of Scots Gold 8 Year Old
Method:
- Add all ingredients, except Scots Gold 8 Year Old, into a shaker with ice
- Shake to chill and combine ingredients
- Double strain into a cocktail glass over fresh ice
- Then top with ¼ ounce of Scots Gold 8 Year Old
Scots Gold Strawberry Scotch Sour
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces Scots Gold 8 Year Old
- ¾ ounce lemon juice
- ¾ strawberry syrup
- 1 egg white
- 2 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
Method:
- Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice
- Shake to chill and combine ingredients
- Strain out the ice
- Dry shake to further emulsify the ingredients
- Double strain into a coupe glass
- Spray or dash bitters on top of the foam
- Garnish with a lemon peel
